The drawings illustrate "The Blue Bird", a children's book by Maurice Maeterlinck. The book has recently appeared at Casa Radio Publishing House, together with Nils Holgersson by Selma Lagerlof and with The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen by Gottfried August Burger.
